We service families and individuals within Gwinnett County with emotional and economical struggles.
Homeless Prevention and Assistance
- Emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities to prevent homelessness.
- Payment of deposit and first month rent for working homeless to obtain apartment.
- Payment of temporary housing in hotels and boarding houses.
- Assistance with obtaining state ID’s, birth certificates and social security cards.
- Referrals to transitional housing for rent.
- Provides homebuyer and homeowner education, comprehensive housing counseling, and foreclosure prevention guidance.
Healthy Living
- Emergency distribution of nutritious food to families.
- Monthly distribution of food to homeless
Education
- Provides disfranchised children with supplies they need to excel in school throughout the year.
- Job training and employment referrals.
- Computer training
- Partnership with Gwinnett Public Schools to provide GED classes.
- Financial literacy workshops and individual budgeting counseling provided by local bank employees.
